Loei has several low and mid priced hotels which are clean and comfortable. Most will have air conditioned rooms.

Food and Drink

The area around the market is a good place to find cheap and tasty food. Chareon Rat Road has a couple of coffee shops, and there are several good restaurants dotted around the town.

Shopping

Loei is not a shoppers paradise but you can find some interesting buys. Try one of the tailors shops if you are in the market for made to measure shirts or blouses.

Sight Seeing

Loei's main attraction is the surrounding countryside and rural villages. You can also use it as a base for visiting the Mekong River or Nong Khai. Ask at your hotel if you need transport. They should be able to arrange a car and driver at reasonable cost.
